DESCRIPTION

** 5v and 3.3V friendly SPI Graphical LCD Display **
**NOTE** It comes with 8 header pins that you will need to solder in place. Not very hard to do, but just be aware that some soldering is required.

 

This is a backlit version of the venerable ST7565 display you see scattered all over the internet.  This one has a white backlight
with black text.  Personally I think they look great, its a full 128x64 display and it is a full graphics display.  This particular display
uses SPI and I have it working perfectly with the Arduino Uno R3 compatible that I sell.

 

I believe this display will also work with 3.3V devices. I haven't tried it myself just yet, but I'll probably get around to it at some stage.
That means if you use the Raspberry Pi for development, there is a good chance that you can run with this LCD.  I just haven't investigated it at this point in time.
