This is a compact 5V one channel relay, that can switch 220/240V AC and up to 30V DC @ 10Amps
Dimensions: 4.89cm x 1.69cm x 1.72cm
Now I have done some testing and I was able to energise the relay with about 2.8 volts.
So this device will work on most 5v and also 3.3v microcontrollers, like the Raspberry Pi 2.
The current draw is also quite low when switching so its perfectly suited to micro's of all types.
You can use these to safely switch your microcontroller based projects that need an AC or a DC load.
Lamps, Fish Tanks, Power Suppliers, Your own smart power board.
Pretty much anything that needs switch of a DC or AC supply.
These are a low level input trigger so very well suited to a wide range of microcontrollers including
the ever popular Arduino and Raspberry Pi 2 as well as PIC AVR DSP ARM MCU.
Use it with any of our wireless microcontrollers like a nodeMCU or an ESP8266 and remotely activate devices around your home.
