This is V2 of this product and includes some nice filtering capacitors.
The connection pins are also all already soldered on, so these are ready
to go as soon as you open the pack. There is also a second set of through
holes incase you want to solder in your own pins (these secondary pins not included)
This device will convert all the way from 1.8V to 6V
These are 8 Channel devices (great for I2C or SPI) and will work with all microcontrollers, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Intel Edison, NXP Mbed.
Very handy if you are working with devices that have 3.3V input, but you only have 5V available
or vice versa. The Nokia 5110 screens are a perfect example of where this level converter will
come in handy.
It's the big brother to our 4 channel device and it is a next level improvement in my opinion.

If you've ever tried to connect a 3.3V device to a 5V system, you know what a challenge it can be. bi-directional logic level converter

 is a small device that safely steps down 5V signals to 3.3V AND steps up 3.3V to 5V at the same time. This level converter also works

 with 2.8V and 1.8V devices. What really separates this Logic level converter from our previous versions is that you can successfully

 set your high and low voltages and step up and down between them safely on the same channel. 

Each level converter has the capability of converting 8 pins on the high side to 8 pins on the low side.

The level converter is very easy to use. The board needs to be powered from the two voltages sources (high voltage and low voltage) that your system is using. 

High voltage (5V for example) to the VCCA' pin, low voltage (3.3V for example) to VCCB', and ground from the system to the GND' pin.


As an example hooked up to a raspberry pi. Note the raspberry pi is not inlcuded.
