Mini Logging Recorder SD Card, Data Logger Module V1
Suits Raspberry Pi & Arduino

These are a relatively new device I found. You've all seen the larger data loggers with the breadboarding area that plug directly
into the top of the Arduino and create a shield. I thought this little logger was far more practical and could be used with a variety of
devices and not just limited to Arduino, as it breaks out the necessary pins you need. Most of it looks like standard I2C and SPI
so how hard can it be, right? :-)
The board has a battery backed RTC on it. Using the DS1307 not the most advanced clock chip in the world, but it does the job.
The SD card slot allows you to save the data you are recording.
So think of this running off an ESP8266 and remotely logging your data whilst also keeping track of time.
Sure you have wifi in the ESP8266 but if your connection goes down, what happens to your data?
No one likes to look at a graph with a big gaping hole in the middle of it. Where the data *should* have
been for that weekend you decided to take off and head south/north.
